Evangeline Aguas, Photographer
My love for photography began in film school, watching and producing films on old movie cameras. I was entranced by this visual medium and it's ability to capture a mood, a feeling. After University, I began working in the advertising industry before deciding to launch my own photography business within the gorgeous, awe-inspiring surrounds of the Blue Mountains. I am interested in the power of images, not only to document a single, fleeting moment in time, but also to evoke emotion. I aim to find beauty in the ordinary and to capture emotion in each situation.
My other passions are travel, film and cooking shows (the eating, not the cooking!). I live in Wentworth Falls with my partner and our spoilt-rotten dog-child.
One of my favourite parts of Katoomba is driving up Parke St at the crest of the hill near Coles, just as the amazing mountains come into view. It surprises me every time.
